Get behind the wheel of one of Trackskill's V8 racecars in a Bathurst style race at Barbagallo Raceway with pitstops and driver changes with expert instruction in complete safety. Work closely with your CAMS licensed instructor and team mates to develop strategies and techniques for qualifying and racing. Learn trail braking, racing lines, improve visual skills and maximise car control.. This is all part of the full-day Trackskill V8 Race Day: professional instructors cater for any level of driver ; everything is provided; race suits, helmets and gourmet lunch and refreshments; drive your arms off sharing a car with 3 team mates; complete around 25 laps behind the wheel; expert tuition - theory and practical; Bathurst style race; achievement certificate at the end of the day; winner's trophies; improved driving knowledge and techniques

Trackskill

Aware that lots of people love motorsport but very few actually get to try it, Gary Baxter decided to bridge the gap between spectators and participants. The results were spectacular! From humble beginnings in Adelaide in 1997, Trackskill has grown to become one of the leading businesses of its kind in Australia. Thousands of people have attended hundreds of Trackskill days across the country. In WA, Tracksill director Anthony Fogliani uses the proven Trackskill formula to guarantee each customer an unforgettable motorsport experience. Anthony has been competing for 18 years and instructing at Barbagallo Raceway for 16 years.

On The Day

Arrive at Barbagallo Raceway by 8.45am on the designated day. You will be organised into teams of four and assigned a car and your own instructor for the day. Before you get in the car you will suit up and learn vehicle dynamics and advanced driving principles. You'll then get to practice driving exrcises including slalom, chicane, corner apexing, braking, steering, corner entry and exits, and also driver changes and plan tactics with other team members before you complete around 30 laps behind the wheel! A hot gourmet lunch is included. The day ends with a demo by your instructors and a trophy presentation.

Registration
We need you to register on this site for Challenge Week events. You can submit all of your details in a few easy steps, and this will secure your place for the challenges of your choice on the days that suit you. Please note there are strictly limited places in each challenge so register early!

Sponsorship
To participate in these challenges we require you to raise sponsorship dollars for each challenge. To participate in either challenge 1 or 2 you will need to raise at least $1,000 with extra rewards if you raise more. To participate in challenge 3 or 4 you need to raise at least $500. Good luck! All proceeds go to the Cancer Support Association of Western Australia Inc to help people in WA with cancer. You can download the sponsorship form, then collect your pledges in writing from family, friends, colleagues and neighbours.

Prizes
Participants in the Become a Race Casr Driver Challenge who raise more than $1,500 will automatically receive 2 night's accommodation at All Seasons Resort in Margaret Rivere for 2 people. Please see the Prizes page for full details.

Payment
You and your sponsors will need to make all payments online via BEFORE you participate in your Challenge. To be eligible for your event all money must be paid in advance. You can keep an eye on your sponsorship dollars by going to the Challenge Participants List and checking the amount paid against your name and Registration ID. All proceeds from Challenge Week go directly to Cancer Support Association to help people in WA with cancer. Your sponsor's payment is tax deductible, and they will be issued with a tax invoice.
