As part of our mission, Cancer Support Association offers many services online which benefit everyone affected by cancer, regardless of their location. This site will be particularly useful to anyone living in remote areas without access to medical and natural health professionals in the cancer field. To access the full range of services on Cancer Support Online it is necessary to become a FREE online subscriber. This is a simple process and will give you immediate access the the following services:

Cancer Profiler
The Cancer Profiler is a cancer treatment decision support tool, which generates unbiased, objective information tailored to patients' individual medical situations and concerns, including full disclosure of treatment options for their specific disease states. The Cancer Profiler also reports risk tolerances, potential side effects, questions patients can ask their physicians and possible treatment outcomes based on group survival statistics. The information can be printed out and used to discuss the relevant issues with the treating physicians, and to weigh up the appropriate options with your family. Importantly, the information this treatment decision support tool provides is available online in your own private space and time (24 hours per day), allowing you to consider, absorb and digest crucial information at your own pace.

Other Profilers
Because of the CSA's emphasis on wellness, healing and prevention, Cancer Support Online also offers a Heart Profiler, Lung Profiler, and a Women's Health Profiler. For these four facilities we are sincerely grateful to NexCura Inc, a world-leader in medical information, research and technology applications.

Wellness Questionnaire
Cancer Support Online provides access to this comprehensive and interactive Wellness Questionnaire, which will help you to assess your lifestyle and suggest the choices and changes necessary to best support your health and wellbeing.

Chatroom & Bulletin Board
For those of you who may find it difficult to access cancer support and wellness services because of time constraints and/or geographic location, Cancer Support Online offers you a fully equipped interactive Chatroom. The Chatroom is a forum where you can chat to others with cancer, or post messages on the Bulletin Board. Ocasionally, we'll invite a special guest, inspirational speaker, or a cancer specialist into the Chatroom for a special session. We'll notify our online members by email to let them know of special guests in the Chatroom.

Counselling
Cancer Support Online offers one-to-one counselling online with our qualified psychologist and wellness group faciliator Dr Angela Ebert who specialises in cancer, wellness and trauma counselling. You will need to book your session in advance. Online counselling is free of charge, annonymous and completely confidential, and will allow you to explore issues, emotions and concerns from the comfort of your own home.

Library & online borrowing
CSA hosts a world class cancer and wellness library. We have thousands of titles available for you to borrow. You can seach our entire catalogue online and borrow up to six items at a time which we will post to you. This service is only available to financial members of the CSA. You can become a financial member for $50 per year by clicking here.

CSA Gateway
CSA's cancer information Gateway is structured to link you directly to key cancer sites worldwide and incorporates cancer information databases on types of cancer, treatment methodologies, pharmacology, clinical trials, support, and much more. The CSA Gateway covers mainstream, complementary and alternative therapy information, personal experiences and is updated weekly.

Research
At present, the Research facility is primarily dedicated to cancer treatment with low-dose phenothiazines, with special reference to Promethazine. This is based on the outstanding work by Dr Robert Jones, a leading and well-published cancer researcher and London based bio-chemist.
